DynRisk includes numerous options, which are stored in a file called 窶廛ynRisk prefs窶 in the Preferences folder in your System Folder. This file is created automatically the first time you start DynRisk. The settings stored in this file include default names and codes for nodes and folders, default distribution parameters, simulation parameters, export options etc. Most of these options are set in dialog boxes that can be opened through the Preference submenu in the File menu.
Note: To return all of DynRisk's preferences to their default settings, open the Preferences folder in your System Folder, and drag the DynRisk prefs file to the trash. A new default Preference file will then be created the next time you start DynRisk.
Nodes and events窶ｦ
Use this command to set preferences for nodes and events such as default identity settings, default distribution parameters, and default simulation parameters.
Folders窶ｦ
Use this command to set preferences for folders such as default identity settings, default windows settings, and default simulation parameters.
Export options窶ｦ
Use this command to set export preferences. These preferences affect the format of exported files. In particular you can choose which attributes you want to include when you export a DynRisk model. Three different file types are supported: 窶彝ich Text Format窶, 窶弋ext only窶 and 窶彜chedule窶.
Data file options窶ｦ
Use this command to set preferences for data files such as default numerical precision (number of decimals) in tables, default rules for calculating contingency, and default plot options.
Misc. options窶ｦ
Use this command to set miscellaneous preferences such as default date settings, trash warnings, and simulation options.
